Description:
This is a magnificent 1950/60's Venetian freeform abstract glass sculpture bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made by the Cristallo Venezia CCC glassworks. In a stunning combination of red/amber glass with gold base glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the Venetian developed Sommerso technique.

Excellent vintage condition, wear consistent with age and use. Two points missing, price reflected, nicely worn with age, slight scratches on base, all consistent with age.
