Description:
This is a magnificent 1960's Venetian freeform glass sculpture bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made by the Cristallo Venezia CCC glassworks. In a stunning combination of light blue / light lavender pinkish clear glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the Venetian developed sommerso technique. With it's giant four arm prongs double encased in clear glass, it's a truly one of a kind, in exceptional condition.
 
It has an abstract shape and a glossy finish. This mid-century modern piece reflects the style of the 1960s with a touch of modern charm. This is a show stopper in every way and size.
